Photographer captures the beauty of mothers with children around the world
Since 2013, photographer Michaela Norok has traveled around the world photographing women for her Atlas of Beauty project. She traveled to more than 50 countries and, in addition to solitary portraits of women, took pictures of mothers with their children. Thanks to this colossal work, today we can see what motherhood looks like from New York and Nepal to Tokyo and Milan.
Now Michaela herself is in an excellent state of expectation of the baby and talks about the experience of photographing mothers with children around the world. "There is always some kind of intimate chemistry between them. And in these special moments there is always so much beauty and kindness."- says the photographer. Her photographs show the family ties and the wonderful intimacy that exist between the mother and the child.
Warmth fills every frame of Mink, and each photo shows that, despite all the cultural differences, motherhood all over the world looks equally amazing.
