Flaming beauty: bewitching portraits of red-haired girls from around the world
Less than 2% of the world's population has natural red hair. Red-haired people stand out from the rest, so they often become the object of ridicule from peers in school, ridiculous jokes in pop culture and silly medieval stereotypes.
Photographer Brian Dowling is determined to change that. He traveled to 20 countries and made wonderful portraits of red-haired girls to draw the attention of the whole world to this very rare, natural beauty.
