The glass path, located at an altitude of 1000 m above the ground, cracked under the feet of tourists!

Last October, part of a new glass road in the geological park of Henan Province (China) cracked right under the feet of frightened tourists. One of the visitors, Lee Dong Hai, who was on the trail, said: "I was almost at the end and suddenly heard a sound. My leg swayed a bit, I looked down and saw a crack."

The road is located at an altitude of about 1080 m above the ground.

“Many people started screaming,” the man says. “I shouted:“ She cracked! She really cracked! "And then I pushed people in front of me so that we left the road."

A spokesman for the park’s travel agency told the press that cracks were caused by one of the tourists dropping a stainless steel mug onto the road. Only one of the three layers of glass cracked, so the tourists were not in danger.

It should be noted that glass walkways and bridges have become extremely popular in China. The path in the park was opened on September 20, and a few days later a suspension bridge opened at a height of 275 m in Yunnan.

In addition, in August, the construction of Asia’s largest glass platform on the Tien Sheng San Qiao rock in Chongqing was completed.
