24 photos of sewing factories in Bangladesh that make you feel uneasy
Bangladesh is one of the poorest nations on the planet. Local residents do not have to choose in matters of work and lifestyle, the vast majority of them are in such distress that they are ready to do anything just to make ends meet somehow.
Photographer Claudio Montesano Casillas visited one of the 7,000 unofficial sewing factories in this country and showed the whole world what inhuman conditions people work here. Boys and men (mostly) work 6 days a week for pennies, many of them even live throughout these working weeks in these small, terrible, stuffy rooms. There is no question of safety and human rights.
