In this Italian village, real life completely replaces the Internet!
Civitacampomarano is a small village in the Italian province of Campobasso, with a population of only 400 people. In addition, all of them are mostly elderly. In this village, the Internet is a rather rare and unknown phenomenon compared, for example, with folk traditions. Mobile phones are poorly caught here, and there is practically no data connection.
The provocative idea of this project is to show that all these virtual things, perceived by the majority of the population as a necessity in everyday life, are not really such. After all, what they give to a person, in fact, has always existed in traditions and pop culture: communication between people, exchange of opinions and preferences, meetings and so on.
These pictures will show you how the Internet looks and what it replaces in real life.
